Nor Cal trip

Had a good trip to Northern California,  First snow of the  year under my feet.  I had to hike 1 1/2 hours for it, but it was really nice to buckle in and get some turns in.  Had some good clinics In Tahoe, and in Mammoth at Wave Rave.  Looking forward to getting back when there is 15 feet of snow :-)

Been getting in the ocean with my kids after school.  Its been so cool to see them come home and get their homework done so they can go surfing.  I am truly a proud papa, and just love being out there with them.  I think its about time to get them on a proper surf trip

Clinics

Been traveling around parts of North America going to some good Burton Shop Clinics,  Also some Clinics at some of the Burton Showrooms.   Its always nice to be able to talk to Shop Employees about the Product,  but i'm starting to really get amped to ride and not just talk about it.   Hopefully I will be strapping in sometime soon.

Boarding School

Burton "Boarding School" event back in Vermont.   Burton Flew in 70 Shop Staff from around North America for a couple days at the Headquarters,  and also to experience Jake's Fall Bash.   It was amazing to see people who have never been to Burton completely trip out on what was going on in Burlington Vermont,   From Talking to product people ,  getting a Tour of "Craigs" with Todd K and seeing boards get made, to bumping into Terje or Jake in the Hallway,  Its just all started to make sense to these Shop Staff that Burton is the Real Deal.   Kudos to all the Employees at Burton who made it an incredible experience to all who attended.

I Had the pleasure of Judging the Hot Dogs and Handrails event at Bear Mountain.   JP walker, Scott Stevens, Joe Sexton, Chris Bradshaw and myself got to watch some amazing young shredders destroy the 10th annual course that Bear Mt setup.  I was expecting to see a bunch of flips onto rails and stuff like that, but what I saw was some serious tech snowboarding on rails.  Tommy Gesme won with some really solid rail riding.  There was a huge crowd that turned out to get the Season started.

Denver

My trip to "the Block" event in Denver.  Its a big Kickoff of the snowboarding season in Colorado,  Lots of shredders get together for Music and all the snowboard movies.  I was lucky enough to roll around with Jeremy Jones, Jussi, and Mikey Rencz for a couple days.   We also sat in on the Satellite Clinic and got to talk snowboarding with the crew.

Alberta, kicking off the season

I went up to Alberta , Canada for some Snowboard clinics with the Crew up there.  Such a Beautiful area un near Banff, we did a clinic outside for Unlimited that was amazing.  I love talking about snowboards and the Sport, but it makes me so amped to ride.   Winter is coming quick.
