My son Dillon just turned 6 about two weeks ago. We went up to Bear Mt last two days and rode. He's been watching to many sunday in the park episodes and its starting to rub off. I need to get him out the backcountry soon, or he will end up being a jibber for life. :-)

Trouble
Was in Utah last week for the Analog Sales meeting.. Haven't shredded with Trevor Andrew in like 114 years,,,, Got him on a NUG 42 and he was bopping all around the mountain on it. I'm super stoked to see someone like Trevor pursue a passion like Music. He has always been super into Music and its just cool i think that he is out there making it happen. I was Glad to see that he still has some good Snowboard skills.. Go Trouble. ,,,, ( That's not Danny Davis in the photo with us,,, Thats Rob , Outerwear/ATF product manager, trying to peep Danny's style.. :-)

Shredding with Jake in Vail
Just got back from 3 days in Vail Colorado, shredding with Jake and some retailers.. Such good times. I love when i see retailers getting after it and doing the sport they are selling. Vail was epic , no crowds at all and Fresh snow. I even got to take a run with Stevie Alters.. that cat still shreds. Thanks Jake.

Bone zone
I'm in Utah for a few days, Its been snowing here the last few days. Alex Andrews took me up to his "Bone Zone " . it is out in the woods in the Wasatch. Alex and his Buddies have built their own jib park out in the middle of nowwhere. Its really cool to see such passion poured into something. They have little huts they have made,, and they build all their wood jibs,, and metal rails. Its the perfect place for them to warm up for the season ahead.

Loveland Pass , Oct 27 2010
What a epic first day back on the snow today at Loveland Pass, Colorado. Its been snowing the last 5 or so days and i headed up there with some guys from Burton and some retail dudes.. So much fun. they opened up a couple runs and it was waist deep. Hope this winter keeps coming like this. I rode the NUG 42 all day,, I was tripping on it. Last year i was riding the NUG 46 for like two months,, and the NUG 48 Directional. Can't wait for my next powder day.

Jake's Fall Bash
Back in Vermont for Jake's Fall Bash, and a company meeting. Jake addressed everyone from the company in the new Craig Kelly Protoshop next door to the Office. I had goosebumps when he started to break down with tears.. I can't wait to ride a proto board from that Factory. Also Kevin Pearce got up on stage and thanked everyone at Burton for the Support,, I cried .... Then the next day Jake and Donna Carpenter opened up their house to everyone,, for the Fall Bash. Lots of good people came out, and some of the Team guys were out. Terje, Sollars, we killing it at indoor soccer in the basement. Thanks Jake for the hospitality:-)

Summer
Summertime is here. Been doing a bunch of Demo's for Channel Islands surfboards. Consumer Demos and also Retailer Demos. Its really cool seeing people ride different surfboards that they normally wouldn't ride, and fall in love with em.. It's just like snowboard demos except your in surftrunks and sunglasses instead of a Down Jacket and Goggles. :-) Here are some photos from the Ponto Demo in San Diego.

Mt Hood Meadows
Such a sick two days at Mt Hood Meadows. I haven't been there in awhile and i forget how rad that place can be. Such fun terrain , lots of hips, and trannies to find in the gullies. And it didn't hurt that there was 2+ feet and dumping both days. I rode with Rob from Exit Real World and Joey. Those guys are loc's and it was great following them to the goods. It sure didn't feel like spring time. I'm supposed to be getting into surf mode here soon, but its hard when the snow is this good.

Stevens Pass
Stevens Pass is pretty legit. There is some really cool Terrain right in the Resort, Lots of spines and pillows. The Hikes are pretty easy and access a lot of good Powder. I rode there with some shred heads from Sno Con and Evo last two days. Washington has had a pretty lame winter but we scored about a foot or so of Fresh, and the sun was actually out for part of the day. The Burton Crew was on hand with the RV and demo fleet , with snacks and Beer for everyone. The Washington boys love the Cheap Beer.

Back to Brighton
Rode Brighton with some homeys from Blindside and Milo Provo.. So Much fun , Lots of sun and the snow wasn't to bad
for the bad winter that I've heard Utah has been having. Jeremy Jones stopped by and took some laps, and stepped up to a sick 50 - 50 on a mean rail in the park. Brighton is a cool resort, and has such great snowboard terrain. We ended the day with the mandatory Lone Star Taco Feast.
